Clifford Hunt, co-founder of YANGAROO and previous Chairman of the Board for 13 years, serves as Chief Operating Officer, where he is responsible for driving market penetration, focused on the Entertainment Division, and overall strategic development and planning for YANGAROO.

Mr. Hunt, co-founder of YANGAROO and previous Chairman of the Board for 13 years, serves as Chief Operating Officer, where he is responsible for driving market penetration, focused on the Entertainment Division, and overall strategic development and planning for YANGAROO. Prior to YANGAROO, Hunt spent over 25 years in the Music Business, working with some of Canada’s most successful artists both domestically and internationally. Hunt has negotiated over 35 major International record deals and was instrumental in coordinating world-wide tours for his artists.

He began his career as a musician and recording artist, and then as an agent for Concept 376 Ltd., booking some of the top concert artists of the day such as, The Guess Who, April Wine, and Lighthouse. Hunt also launched and founded his own record production and management company, Hunt Management Inc. to develop, promote and manage numerous JUNO nominated and winning recording artists. Hunt was also Associate Producer for the Canadian National Exhibition Grandstand Shows, which included some of the biggest names in show business from Frank Sinatra and Bob Hope to The Beach Boys, The Eagles, and Ray Charles. Hunt has lectured at various Universities and Colleges, his writings have been published in Fortune Magazine/CNN, he is a regular contributor to The Huffington Post, and currently sits on the Advisory Board of Linus Entertainment.

In September 2016, Hunt was inducted into the Mississauga Music Walk of Fame along with such luminaries as Oscar Peterson, Ronnie Hawkins, Gil Moore and Rik Emmett (Triumph) and Denny Doherty of the Mamas and Papas.
